Any roof, structural, fire-safety, or regulatory compliance work may require independent verification. We are not responsible for hidden conditions (e.g., asbestos, structural rot) that were unknown at time of quote unless specified.
Use of our services is at your own risk; you agree that we will not be liable for losses beyond the exclusions and limits stated above.

Terms & Conditions - The Basics
1. Scope of Services
We provide residential and commercial renovation and property maintenance services including, but not limited to:

Interior and exterior painting

Flooring, mouldings and carpentry

Fence restoration and exterior finishes

Project details, deliverables, timelines and pricing will be confirmed in writing (contract, quote, or email) before work begins.
2. Quotes, Payment & Billing

All quotes are valid for the stated period.

A deposit may be required before commencement of work; balance is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed.

We bill in CAD.

If payments are late or missing, we reserve the right to pause work or cancel the project.

Ownership of any deliverable (materials, designs, schedules) remains ours until full payment is received.
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:

Provide full and accurate property information (address, condition, access, permissions).

Ensure work areas are accessible and safe.
-
Obtain any necessary permissions, zoning or building approvals (unless we have agreed to manage this).

Supply or confirm selections of materials, colours, finishes, and make timely decisions to avoid delays.
4. Project Changes & Revisions

Any changes after the quote/contract that fall outside the original scope may incur additional charges.

If significant work is added, a new quote or change order will be required before continuing.
5. Refunds & Cancellations
Due to the nature of renovation and service labour:

Once work has begun or materials have been ordered, refunds are not available.

If the client cancels prior to start and no materials are committed, a partial refund may be considered at our discretion, less any costs incurred.
6. Warranty & Results
We aim to deliver quality workmanship. However:

We cannot guarantee times beyond factors outside our control (weather, supply chain, structural surprises).

Warranty terms (if any) will be specified in your contract.

We are not liable for consequential losses (e.g., lost rental income) unless explicitly agreed.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages.
8. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed:

Any documentation, designs or proposals we provide remain our intellectual property until paid in full.

On full payment, you may use the deliverable for your property/business as intended.
9. Data Collection & Privacy
By engaging with us, submitting forms or using this website, you consent to our collection of certain data, including:

10. Third-Party Vendors & Access
We may subcontract or coordinate with third-party vendors (e.g., specialty trades, suppliers). We are not liable for their faults, delays or actions beyond our direct control.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement:

If you fail to make payments after the written terms.

If you fail to provide required access or information.

We may also terminate if unsafe circumstances arise, or scope becomes unreasonable.
On termination you are responsible for all work completed plus material costs.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time, and the latest version will be posted on our website.
